Empowering screen talent in Bradford and West Yorkshire
We are dedicated to providing exceptional training, support and opportunities to individuals who are passionate about making their mark in the screen industry.
Our inaugural intake launched at the beginning of 2024, with 26 training placements on VIRDEE a BBC1 drama production shooting in Bradford.
The placements are paid, full time positions, and combine training, shadowing, mentoring, career guidance and on-the-job experience at the heart of the production.
With opportunities for both entry-level and mid-career crew, our scheme is designed to empower and equip emerging talent with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the industry.
VIRDEE is a six-part crime drama, adapted by Bradfordian writer AA Dhand, from his own best-selling series of Harry Virdee books. The series is produced by Magical Society for BBC1.
